Post Anesthesia Care
Post Anesthesia Care
Post anesthesia care is an essential phase of recovery following surgical procedures performed under general, regional, or local anesthesia. After surgery, patients are closely monitored to ensure safe recovery from anesthesia and to detect any immediate complications. Our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) provides specialized monitoring and support during this critical transition period.
Highly trained nurses and anesthesiology professionals monitor vital signs including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, breathing patterns, and consciousness level. Pain management, nausea control, airway support, and temperature regulation are carefully managed to ensure patient comfort and stability.
Patients remain in the PACU until they regain full consciousness, stable vital signs, and adequate breathing function. Special attention is given to patients with underlying medical conditions, elderly individuals, and those who have undergone major surgery.
Clear communication is maintained with surgical teams and family members regarding recovery progress. Our post anesthesia care services prioritize safety, comfort, and smooth recovery, ensuring patients transition safely from surgery to further recovery stages.
