Ventilatory Care

Ventilatory care provides life-support assistance to patients who are unable to breathe adequately on their own. Mechanical ventilation supports or replaces spontaneous breathing, ensuring the body receives sufficient oxygen and maintains proper carbon dioxide levels. This service is essential for patients with respiratory failure, severe infections, trauma, neurological conditions, or those recovering from major surgery.

Our ventilatory care unit is equipped with modern ventilators capable of delivering precise and controlled respiratory support. Critical care specialists continuously monitor oxygen levels, lung function, and patient response to adjust ventilator settings according to individual needs. Both invasive ventilation (via endotracheal tube or tracheostomy) and non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP) options are available.

The care team focuses on maintaining airway safety, preventing infections, and supporting gradual weaning from ventilator support when the patient’s condition improves. Strict infection-control protocols and continuous monitoring ensure patient safety and comfort.

Family members are guided about the ventilatory process and recovery expectations, providing reassurance during critical situations. Through expert monitoring and advanced life-support systems, ventilatory care plays a vital role in stabilizing critically ill patients and supporting recovery.
